Quite frankly, he might have been lurking around in the book, but I never felt like I got to know him on a deeper level. Her love interest, David, on the other hand, I feel like we didn't get to know much. Overall, I really enjoyed Cathy as a main character. She had goals and while she faced obstacles, she worked hard to achieve them. She has never let her popularity get to her head and I liked how she was so involved in her charities. I enjoyed the first novel of the series and wanted to know more about one of my favorite secondary characters from the first book.Ĭathy was a genuinely sweet, loyal and dedicated character from the very start, despite being a royal. You know how sometimes you just crave a mindless read just so you can be in a good mood? That's what I was feeling like when I grabbed Recklessly Royal.
